Currency + Payment

All prices are listed in New Zealand dollars. 

Payments are securely accepted by credit card (via Stripe) or bank transfer.

 

Tax

New Zealand sales include GST.

 

Returns

Your order should arrive in perfect condition. If it doesn’t, I’ll do everything we can to remedy the situation. New Zealand customers are protected by the Consumer Guarantees Act.

Reproduction rights remain the sole property of Sarah Fincham - Up the Hill Creative. Commercial use must be approved of in writing.

I respect your privacy, and won't do anything with your personal information that I wouldn't be happy being done with my own.

I must collect certain personal information in order to carry out transactions, and must store transaction details for seven years, to comply with local tax laws.

Personal information may flow through certain third parties, always via an encrypted connection, such as my website host, email platforms, and payment merchant.

 

Personal information may be used from time to time for other purposes, such as sending out a security breach notification and anything else that may come up. But your data will not -

  • Be shared with other third parties

  • Be sold, rented or leased

  • Used for political purposes or analysis

  • Have algorithm-based analytics done on your data

  • Track your activity across the world wide web

 

Overall, we collect as little personal information as possible.

We use cookies necessary for our website to operate and process orders and transactions.

All optional cookies including analytics and visitor tracking have been disabled.

 

Your Data

What I collect

I collect only the personal information you explicitly provide. For example, when you make a purchase, I collect your:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Billing address

  • Postal address​

Payment details entered are processed directly by Wix, Stripe and PayPal. I do not have access to, nor store payment details, personally.

I do not knowingly collect or log your IP address, device details, or other information that you have not explicitly shared.

How I use your data

I use your personal information only for the purpose you provided it in the first place and I believe you would be happy with. If you gave me your address to send an order to, I will send your order to it.

How long I retain your data

Except of cookies, personal information collected may be stored indefinitely, or until you ask me to delete it.

Basic financial and transaction information must be stored for seven years to comply with local tax law.

I make no assurance that your data will be kept for any period of time. For example, I would not maintain details of a purchase if I changed our website provider.

What rights you have over your data

  • Correct errors in your personal data

  • Request the erasure of your personal data

  • Object to the processing of your personal data

  • Receive an export of your personal data

 

My ability to comply with these rights may be limited by:

  • Legal requirements to maintain records e.g. transaction details

  • Storage of personal information within backups that are not directly modifiable

 

I will always do everything within our ability to uphold your rights and requests regarding your personal data.

 

How I protect your data

Information passed between upthehillcreative.co.nz and your device is encrypted. Data is stored on secure servers run by Wix. Only the operators of Up the Hill Creative are authorised to view, modify, or delete your data.

What data breach procedures I have in place

In the event of a data breach, I will email you within 72 hours of my becoming aware of it. I will take necessary steps to prevent further breaches.

Sharing of your data

I will not share your personal information with anyone other than my core data processors required for operating my website and business. There data processors are:

  • Wix - my hosting and backup provider

  • Stripe - my credit card merchant

  • Gmail - emails sent to me are through Gmail

 

I trust these data processors with your personal information and while I take responsibility for data use, I have no control over what these third parties do.
